Fremont, CA – February 23, 2006 – Greenstein Rogoff Olsen & Co. (GROCO), Top Bay Area CPA Firm, is pleased to announce they were recognized by the Fremont Education Foundation as a Foundation Sponsor for 2006.

At the Fremont Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 Fremont Education Foundation’s President Dave Bonaccorsi presented Alan Olsen, Managing Partner of GROCO with a plaque in appreciation to GROCO as a Foundation Sponsor; supporting the academic and co-curricular programs essential to the development of well-educated and well-founded young adults. Dave thanked Alan for GROCO’s generous $15,000 donation. Alan Olsen thanked the Foundation and the School Board and reminded them he had a personal investment, having seven children enrolled himself. Alan’s wife, Susan Olsen is the daughter Former School Board member Wayne Ferguson and both stated, “We feel committed to the education of our children and the community.”

Fremont Education Foundation work focuses primarily on three areas; After-School Band Program, the Guy Emanuele Sports Fund and the Innovative Education Grants Program which funds innovative, quality classroom programs in grades K-12 and is aimed at increasing student achievement in academics, creativity, leadership, critical thinking, and visual and performing arts.

The Foundation is currently set a goal to raise $106,000 benefiting the school bands for 4th-6th graders in all Fremont public schools.
