Some of the Most Amazing Hobbies From Around the Globe
Some of the Most Amazing Hobbies From Around the Globe
Have you been looking for a new hobby lately to fill your time? If the stamp or coin collecting just doesn’t seem to grab your attention and the thought of taking up golf or polo bores you, then perhaps it’s time to look outside the box.
Or, maybe it’s time to look outside the U.S. and see what people in some other countries are doing to pass their time and fulfill their passions. There are so many different hobbies to be involved, but if you’re looking for something a little more unique, then check out these amazing hobbies from other parts of the world.
1. Duct Tape Art
Admittedly this is a hobby that is popular in the U.S. already, but it might not be a very common one. However, duct tape artists from around the world have made everything from dresses to handbags and just about anything else they can imagine with wonderful, industrial duct tape.
2. Extreme Dog Grooming
Do you own a dog, or perhaps even more than one? Most dog owners love their pets and treat them as part of their family. These days, you can do just about anything with dog grooming, including fancy colors, styles, and costumes. It’s not for everyone, but your dog might like the extra attention, and it could be your favorite new pastime and hobbies in different countries.
3. CARVING
This is a favorite in several spots around the world and most interesting hobbies, including Thailand and the Philippines, where artists regularly turn pieces of fruit and other items into intricate works of art.
4. FLYING WITHOUT A PLANE
Skydiving is one thing, but what about flying without a plane? With the right suit a person can actually fly, but with only a parachute as protection, this is not for the faint of heart. This is definitely an extreme sport; if the thought of riding a skateboard is too much for you, then steer clear of this new hobby.
5. Car Tattoos
Some hobbies of tattoos come in all shapes and sizes and many people consider them to be a form of art. Several people are taking that art form to their vehicles and tattooing their cars. One famous artist in Taiwan has created amazing designs on cars, motorcycles, and even larger vehicles.
6. NEWS BOMBING
By now just about everyone is familiar with photo bombing, the act of purposely entering someone else’s photo at just the right time. Well, now news bombers have taken this act one step further. News bombing is an art really as you not only have to find news crews on the job, but you also have to time your entrance into the shot just right.

Alan L. Olsen, CPA, Wikipedia Bio
GROCO.com is a proud sponsor of The American Dreams Show.
The American Dreams show was the brainchild of Alan Olsen, CPA, MBA. It was originally created to fill a specific need; often inexperienced entrepreneurs lacked basic information about raising capital and how to successfully start a business.
Alan sincerely wanted to respond to the many requests from aspiring entrepreneurs asking for the information and introductions they needed. But he had to find a way to help in which his venture capital clients and friends would not mind.
The American Dreams show became the solution, first as a radio show and now with YouTube videos as well. Always respectful of interview guest’s time, he’s able to give access to individuals information and inspiration previously inaccessible to the first-time entrepreneurs who need it most.
They can listen to venture capitalists and successful business people explain first-hand, how they got to where they are, how to start a company, how to overcome challenges, how they see the future evolving, opportunities, work-life balance and so much more..
American Dreams discusses many topics from some of the world’s most successful individuals about their secrets to life’s success. Topics from guest have included:
Creating purpose in life / Building a foundation for their life / Solving problems / Finding fulfillment through philanthropy and service / Becoming self-reliant / Enhancing effective leadership / Balancing family and work…
