Bookkeeper/ Level 1 Accountant

Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Co., LLP (GROCO), is a full service Certified Public Accounting firm with offices in Fremont (near BART) and Palo Alto. We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper / Staff Tax Accountant with 2 year of bookkeeping, accounting or tax preparation experience to join our team.


  • 2-3 years quality bookkeeping experience

  • Bachelors degree in accounting preferred

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Detailed oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Above average proficiency in QB, Excel and Word preferred

Position Summary:

A Bookkeeper / Staff Tax Accountant-Level I should have solid accounting knowledge. They should be able to conduct research, develop work papers and organize documentation for research projects, perform engagement tasks, and control budgets.
