Senior Tax Relation Accountant

This client relations position is ideal for someone with experience preparing tax returns for at least the last 2 tax seasons for a single or multi-family office with ambition to further their career. We seek an individual with excellent verbal, written and client communication skills with a "can-do" attitude. A quick adapter to new technology and software with an eye for details, efficiency and have great soft (people) skills. He or she should be comfortable forward facing to clients and able to provide effective feedback to both Sr. tax staff and clients on engagement requests, research and project updates. Have ability to coordinate, prepare and administer tax services and communications for significant clients and family offices.

Applicant Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years quality tax preparation, preferably in family office or public accounting.

  • CPA Designation is not required, although preferred.

  • Bachelors degree in accounting preferred (Master’s degree of Science in Taxation is ideal)

  • In addition to individuals, experience preparing business & corporate tax returns a plus

  • Family office and high net-worth experience is preferred

  • Ability to work independently and part of a team

  • Ability to lead, motivate, manage and mentor staff

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, peers and other contacts

  • Sound technical skills, business and client satisfaction judgment

  • Above average proficiency in Excel and Word

  • GoSystem experience a plus.
