Many people love photography, and many people are very good at it. This is one hobby that a lot of people have turned into an extra source of income. With so many websites that sell photos, you can make some extra money if you know how to get an image just right.

Have you ever seen someone walking around the neighborhood, being pulled by three or four dogs at the same time? While that person might love dogs, most likely he or she is being paid to walk those dogs. In fact, many people who started walking or taking care of dogs for fun have turned it into fairly lucrative side businesses. 

 

Collecting

Collecting is one of the best ways to make money with a hobby, especially if you enjoy collecting valuable items like rare art, coins, exotic cars, jewelry, or even horses. Many collectors start out simply because they have a passion for what they’re collecting, but later discover that they can make money at the same time. 

 

Blogging/Writing

The Internet is Full of Content. So where do you think that content comes from? Someone has to write it, which means if you’re any good at putting your thoughts on paper in an organized way, then you could tun you hobby into cash.

 

Don’t Forget Your Taxes

Obviously, these are just a handful of popular hobbies that people participate in, and there are many others. However, these hobbies typically lend themselves better to making money on the side. Have you considered making money with your hobby? If not, then now might be a good time for you to start looking for ways to turn your favorite pastime into some extra cash. Just keep in mind, though, that you will owe taxes on any profit you make from a given hobby.
