Qualifications / Requirements:

7+ years quality public accounting experience preparing corporate & individual tax returns

Proven management and organizational skills

Bachelors degree in accounting (Master's degree of Science in Taxation preferred)

POSITION SUMMARY
A Tax Manager schedules and assigns work, maintains budgets, and completes engagements on time and profitably. He or she review staff’s work and provides them effective engagement feedback on methods of improvement and efficiency. Tax Managers coordinate and administer tax services for significant clients and have had experience in preparing tax protests, prepare rulings for clients, memoranda in connection with requests for technical advice, write opinions on issues and help with tax provision reviews. They also help with staff development activities. Be able to conduct and manage research and documentation for more varied and complex tax transactions. As a leader, help others reach their full potential, leverage existing engagements into new ones. Perform major engagement tasks, and control budgets.
Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and review various types of complex tax returns (individuals, closely held businesses, partnerships, international, estate planning, etc.)

Consult with clients solving sophisticated problems in all areas of taxation, as required by firm clients
