Cam Danielson
So the conscious leadership institute, this is the way that I’m now giving my focus myself and my partner, Pam firm. And we’re giving our focus to this idea of how can leaders become more conscious with grow in their development as leaders, and addressing not just simply their current purpose as a leader. But stepping into a kind of elevating to a larger impact in the world. One of the things that we’ve learned with working with leaders is that the organization is not the final defining dimension to their leadership. It’s a context in which their leadership emerges, but who they are as leaders is larger than any organization. And hence, they begin to step into that identity of leadership. It takes them into working on things that go well beyond the just merely the goals and objectives of any single organization. So how do we work with people like that is a developmental journey that requires multiple steps, so coaching, workshops, and research all kinds of work together under this umbrella of Institute development is not a quick fix. It’s a journey. And people who want to take it seriously. We’ve got a protocol and our practice for working with them over years, part of this development purposes, you know, stepping back, taking in the larger context, and then refocusing, stepping back refocusing. This is the work of innovation and execution, expansion and focus. So we’re learning how to do that as a practice of leadership.

The American Dreams show was the brainchild of Alan Olsen, CPA, MBA. It was originally created to fill a specific need; often inexperienced entrepreneurs lacked basic information about raising capital and how to successfully start a business.

Alan sincerely wanted to respond to the many requests from aspiring entrepreneurs asking for the information and introductions they needed. But he had to find a way to help in which his venture capital clients and friends would not mind.

The American Dreams show became the solution, first as a radio show and now with YouTube videos as well. Always respectful of interview guest’s time, he’s able to give access to individuals information and inspiration previously inaccessible to the first-time entrepreneurs who need it most.

They can listen to venture capitalists and successful business people explain first-hand, how they got to where they are, how to start a company, how to overcome challenges, how they see the future evolving, opportunities, work-life balance and so much more.

American Dreams discusses many topics from some of the world’s most successful individuals about their secrets to life’s success. Topics from guest have included:

Creating purpose in life / Building a foundation for their life / Solving problems / Finding fulfillment through philanthropy and service / Becoming self-reliant / Enhancing effective leadership / Balancing family and work…
